In aviation, being dirty is not functionally prudent. Zip Chem knows keeping clean is often the key to maintaining a vehicle that operates optimally. Zip Chem's Calla 602LF is a concentrated cleaner for use in aqueous parts washing cabinets. It removes dirt and grease from parts with cycle times as low as three minutes. This cleaner is safe to use on various aircraft substrates including magnesium, IVD aluminum coated steel, cadmium plated steel, aluminum, titanium, and other high strength materials.
In addition, Calla 602LF acts as a short term emulsifier by facilitating the separation of the greases and oils from the waste stream. Its low VOC formulation allows it to be used in the strictest air quality control regulations. In fact, Calla 602LF meets all the requirements under Source Control Drawing 9825019 Rev. C for T.O.S. 4W-1-161, 4B-1-32, 4S-1-182 as well as meets specification MIL-C-29602 except section 3.7 (pH).
The operating temperature range is 140°F to 160°F. Please note that in order to achieve optimum cleaning efficiency, a 5% dilution is recommended with a normal cleaning time of 3-15 minutes.
