When we tout our dope, we're not referring to anything illegal. American-made Randolph butyrate and nitrate dopes are designed for that special satin finish found on vintage aircraft. As specialists and leaders in aircraft coatings, Randolph Aircraft Products offers premium quality dopes, epoxy and nitrate thinners, acid proof paint, catalysts and accelerators. There's also epoxy varnish, float lacquer, Randolph aircraft primer and Lycoming engine enamel. Their 210 Nitrate Dope is for sealing and shrinking cottons, silks and Irish linen found on model airplanes. The 8350 Clear Non-tautening Butyrate is used as the second coating on Ceconite, after the nitrate dope coats. The clear butyrate adds body and thickness. Their G6303 Rand-O-Fill is the third product that's applied in the Ceconite system. It provides UV protection. Product safety sheets, such as the Randolph tautening dope MSDS, can be found on the product detail pages. |
