The Momentive™ RTV-630A/B Silicone Rubber Compound Kit from SkyGeek contains two pre-measured components that are mixed to form a high-strength silicone rubber. Each component is measured by weight for the highest accuracy and most predictable results. Momentive™ RTV-630A/B Silicone Rubber Compound is moderately pourable once mixed, and can be used in thin, lightweight molds with good results. It has a high tear resistance and is well-suited to the manufacture of intricate castings. Momentive™ RTV-630A/B Silicone Rubber Compound is free of solvents and has a long work time at room temperature, making it useful for potting or the reproduction of larger parts. The cure time can be accelerated with the application of heat. The mixed compound has a low shrinkage rate when cured. Each Momentive™ RTV-630A/B Silicone Rubber Compound kit contains enough product to make one pound. The formula expresses good self-leveling characteristics for better precision and easier reproduction of detailed models. In the two-part kit, part A is beige while part B is blue for easy identification.
