Use B&B™ 3100 3100 cleaning compound jet engine gas path cleaner in a 1:4 mix for the best results. Mixing instructions are included with every order, so you'll always get the perfect ratio. This turbo cleaner is eco-friendly and military-approved, going to work quickly and producing satisfying results while still being kind to the environment. It's safe for indoor or outdoor use, so you can use it in a controlled environment like a hangar or out in the field. To confirm compatibility, see your engine manual and product MSDS. Ideally, you should clean your turbo engines about once every four weeks or whenever you start seeing signs of buildup. This ensures that your engine will continue to work smoothly without buildup getting into the way of essential components. The cleaner is available in several container sizes to suit your needs and your cleaning schedule. A manufacturer's certification may be added to any order, if needed, for an additional charge.
B&B™ gas turbine wash fluid should be applied to all engines in compliance with instructions outlined in applicable T.O.s and engine manufacturer's technical manuals. Consult engine manufacturer's technical manuals for blanking off or disconnecting air bleeds and protecting sensing devices from moisture before attempting to clean your engine. Always use the product in specified dilution and according to your aircraft's manual.
Suggested Use: Dilute 1 part B&B™ 3100 with 4 parts fresh water for use in all engines. Smaller engines typically require about 2 ½ gallons of solution per wash. Larger engines require approximately 5 gallons of mixed solution per wash for adequate cleaning. After application, rinse the engine with fresh water (using same procedure as chemical application) until discharge water from tail pipe is clear.
For safety, please ensure the ignition circuit breaker is pulled during the entire cleaning procedure. B&B™ 3100 is not to be used with the ignition on and the engine running. Use the wash in the starter motor only. Consult engine manufacturer's manual for starter motor wash procedure.
