Universal 16" Aircraft Fuel Guage. Extra long for use in deeper wings and tanks.

Made of heavy, clear plastic and easy to use. Simply insert "Fuel Hawk" until it touches the bottom of the tank. Then place your finger firmly over the top of the opening to lock fuel in the tube. Remove and instantly see a readout in U.S. gallons of usable fuel on a calibrated scale card. (For use in both main and auxiliary tanks.)

This fuel guage is ideal for when the pilot must take a less-than-full fuel load due to weight considerations or measuring how much is really in the tank.

Fuel gauge backup

The stick and instructions arrived in a timely fashion. Defueling was the most consuming part of the process.
The instructions were clear in detail to calibrate the stick. Wing design impacts the low end of the scale. In the case of my C210F, ten gallons registers .25 on the scale. The smaller version of the Fuelhawk would probably work better providing wider markings between quantity levels.
Pros:
Easy to use, store and calibrate. A must have as the fuel gauges can be suspect at times.
Cons:
Marketing material could recommend product based on different aircraft models.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Once calibrated it provides an accurate assurance of "exactly" how much fuel I have. Easy to use, light weight and is part of my pre-flight check now.
