TEMPEST® 82-00067 Urethane Shear Coupling

Tempest's 82-00067 is a urethane shear coupling that is applied to Aero Accessories, Inc. air pumps installed in both single- and multi-engine aircraft (See Figure A on the image above). This item comes in a coupling assembly kit (Part number 82-06768) in conjunction with an external drive (Part number 82-00068) and a mounting gasket (Part number 82-50130-B). It's important to note that conditions such as heat, oils and solvents may shorten the useful life of this item. Thus, it is recommended that this coupling be replaced every 6 years by an authorized mechanic.
