Lubricate your pistons and experience the difference in flight with Phillips XC 20w50. Phillips XC Oil is the first approved multiviscosity oil. Ideal for opposed piston engines, you’ll enjoy improved performance in all weather conditions. The Phillips 66 X/C 20w-50 is an ashless dispersant that runs cleaner, faster and easier through the engine. Phillips XC 20w50 is recommended for breaking in your plane, but as an operational oil you can continue using it for long after break-in. And you’ll want to – the Phillips XC Oil keeps your engine parts slick and functional for longer.

A multi-viscosity oil is one that has been tested at hot and cold temperatures. Multiviscosity oil is formulated by mixing oil with a cold-weather viscosity and oil with a warm-weather viscosity, to which polymers are added. This process allows the oil to function across a wide range of temperatures. This versatility makes multi viscosity oils, like the Phillips XC Oil, ideal for all-season use.

Features
  • Ashless dispersant helps minimize engine sludge and varnish deposits for a cleaner engine
  • Easier starting and faster oil circulation at low temperatures compared to single grade oils
  • Reduced warm-up time and cooler operating temperatures compared to single grade oils
  • High-film strength for protection against wear and piston scuffing, even under high-load conditions, such as takeoff and at elevated operating temperatures
  • Provides cleaner and quicker break-in than traditional all-mineral, non-additized, single-grade oils
  • Protects against rust and corrosion
  • Reduces oil consumption in most engines
  • Suitable for year-round use
