Fitted with our electret noise canceling microphone and windscreen, your voice will be heard loud and clear by ATC. The headset can be used in monaural or stereo modes. It comes fitted with a combination of liquid and foam ear seals to make it very comfortable by disbursing the headset’s weight evenly over your head. To make your flying more enjoyable, the headset comes with an input jack which allows you to input an audio source from your IPOD®, MP3®, or CD player. The same jack serves as dual role as a cell/satellite phone jack.

The PA-1161T comes with a NRR rating of 24 dB which is more than adequate to protect your hearing in normal aviation environments.

as a lsa pilot I have found that this head set meets or exceeds the the capability of much more expensive head sets I've used at way lest cost.As a student I don't have to tell you what that means in helping me to finance my aviation goals.In the aviation field money is important,So is savings.If you want great gear at a good price you must try this head set!!!

Just enough for passengers

I bought this headset for passengers. I did some tests on it, like plugging it into my external sound card, a portable radio and the old intercom of an C172. It sounds horrible, its not comfortable (the earpads are too small) but it does the job: protect the ear and be just enough efficient for communications with pax.

I do recommend to buy a more expensive headset. Softcomm does great headset at 100$.

Smaller earcups, ideal for younger passenger
mp3/cell input
Cons:
Sounds like hell
Not comfortable
mp3/cell seems to work on one side only (both positions of mono/stereo switch)
