HIX heat shrink is the most popular, general purpose heat shrink tubing used for insulating, jacketing, bundling and identification.
It is mechanically tough, it will not cold flow, never melts and will not split when shrunk over irregularly shaped objects.
Shrink temperatures between 200° and 300° C are recommended.
Longitudinal shrinkage is less than 5%. MIL-I-23053B/5, Classes 1 and 2.
Sold by the four foot stick or 100' roll.
