When it comes to hearing protection, David Clark's green domes have been trusted for over 25 years. It all started in 1975 with the debut of the company's first aviation headset produced that put primary importance on hearing protection. While in flight pilots found they were able to communicate using a normal speaking voice and be heard clearly. This was even the case in a typically noisy aircraft! Clear, isolated reception in this headset was also integral. David Clark had a sure winner with that first model and to this day continues their legacy of quality. David Clark's precision-engineered products are packed with options to increase the wearer's comfort. A few of these standard options are: Super-Soft Double Foam Headpad, Undercut comfort-gel ear seals, and a lighter and smaller battery pack for ENC models with battery-saving auto-shutoff. Don't accept anything less than what has been proven time and again to be the best when it comes to choosing your aviation headset…David Clark! Are you a pilot geek who wants to know every last detail about this headset before you buy it? Here you go! H10-13.4 Noise-Attenuating Aviation Headset Features: - Made in the USA

|
MODEL M-7A ELECTRET
MICROPHONE
This David
Clark Company Electret Microphone is a noise cancelling
type designed to operate in place of
carbon and amplified dynamic microphones. This microphone will not operate in circuits that do
not supply a DC bias voltage. Most
modern aviation communications equipment do supply this
required voltage. If you are not certain,
consult your radio technical manual or with your avionics shop.
|
NOTE
We strongly
recommend that the mazster gain control located within the
radio be optimized by a competent
avionics technician whenever adding a new model microphone. This David Clark Company Incorporated
Model M-7A Microphone is designed to
conform to guidelines set forth by The Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics. Document No.
RTCA/DO-170.
|
BOOM ASSEMBLY The microphone boom assembly
pivots horizontally 200o for a right or left position. Do not attempt to swivel the boom assembly to
a down position.
|
| VOLUME
CONTROL
|
| The listen volume is adjustable.
When the headset is worn with the microphone boom extending from
the left side, full listen volume is possible when the knob is
turned backward.
|
|
| Multiple Headset Operation: Set
all headset volume controls to the "Maximum Volume" position.
Adjust the system volume by using
the aircraft panel volume control and/or intercom volume control
to the desired listening level of the user requiring the highest volume. All other users
may then adjust their headset volume using the headset
volume control to their desired listening
level.
