This dipole VOR antenna mounts on top of the vertical fin stabilizer of most single engine general aviation aircraft. The integral ferrite balun provides improvement in performance and replaces cumbersome coaxial baluns utilized previously. The radiating elements are laminated with polyester glass material for improved precipitation static protection. NOT APPROVED for HELICOPTER use. TSO C34c, C36c, C40a, DO-160.
