Work Just FineBy John Bond on February 26, 2009 I give it 3 stars. I bought this headset for my girlfriend. She has a very tiny noggin and needed a headset designed for a child. The C45-20 is advertised as such and comes with mini earpads. The mike boom can adjust for smaller heads and the top head pad is also designed for smaller people. However, the medal band that runs along the top of the headset and connects to the stirrups is 10 1/4" long, which is a normal size headband (longer than my David Clark). It needs to be the shorter 9 1/4" headband to truely fit a child. You can order the smaller headband from Oregon Aero. The afformentioned stirrups are made of plastic, so we shall see if they prove sturdy enough to last very long. I plan to retro fit it with medal stirrups on down the road. The ANR works great, however if you do utilize the mini earpads, they can cause feedback if the person wearing the headset ear's touch the speaker foam within the earcup. This happend to my girlfriend when we first used it. We switched to aftermarket gel earpads which I highly recommend. I also cut off the cheap head pad and replaced it with an Oregon Aero headpad. So, after I replace most of the universal headset hardware, I have a pretty decent headset. I would not have bought this particular model, but she wanted the nutty pink color, and the Pilot Cadet is the only other option for girls, and it is not an ANR headset. You get what you pay for. Its a good deal if you are willing to upgrade it a bit.
