Bostik L1096MR Liquid Adhesive - Gallon - A-6741-79-1

This one or two part fast track general purpose contact adhesive provides high initial strength with good heat resistance and was designed to bond high-pressure laminates to wood, particleboard, or metal and as a general purpose adhesive for various rubber and rigid plastic surfaces. It is not designed for flexible PVC.

Bostik 1096M provides adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, produces a tough yet flexible film and has fast strength development.

Product Applications:

• Rubber and rubber foam gaskets to steel or FRP
• Plastic laminates to wood, particle board, or metal
• Neoprene or SBR to itself

Application: Brush, knife, roll coat
Surface Preparation: Abrade followed by solvent cleaning
Heat Activation: 160-200°F
Solvent Activation: Toluene

Apply two coats to each surface, allow 20-30 minutes between coats. Mate surfaces carefully with good pressure within 20 minutes of last coat.
