Ardrox AV 25 (formerly Dinitrol) is a penetrating, corrosion inhibiting compound (CIC) with water displacing properties generally used to protect metals commonly used in airframe structures and aerospace components. This general purpose lubricant is designed for the treatment of moveable parts where a soft, waxy, lubricating film is required (such as control cables, pulleys, etc.). It can be used on all areas of the airframe on both painted and unpainted surfaces. To receive the most effective corrosion inhibiting performance, spraying is the preferred application method, however it can also be applied by brushing or dipping specific areas or components.
