The Ameri-King AK-451-6 is a USA FAA TSO’d approved, Transport Canada approved, European EASA ETSO’d approved, Brazil Anatel approved, 406 MHz ELT Emergency Locator Transmitter, Types (AF) Automatic Fixed, (AP) Automatic Portable. It transmits aircraft GPS/NAV position data, immediately and accurately, on triple (406 Satellite /243 Military /121.5 Civilian) MHz frequencies.
The supreme advantage feature is the aircraft GPS/NAV Latitude / Longitude exact position shall be transmitted, within 1 minute, on the very first burst, without waiting for a Polar Orbiting Satellite (could be up to 4 hours). Enhance the accuracy significantly, for the ground search area, from 1-3 kilometers (non GPS/ NAV Position) to 22 meters typical (with GPS/NAV Position). Having triple frequencies insures your distress message reaches both NOAA Satellite Operation and US Air Force AFSR Ground Operation, Search and Rescue Team, with 100% fully confidence, due to transmitting on both 243.0 MHz Military and 121.5 MHz Civilian bands, for immediate ground search dispatch, narrowing the searching time to almost nothing. The choice is clear when it comes to Safety, Fast, Accuracy, Reliability, Price and Product Support, Ameri-King’s AK-451-6 ELT is your best choice. Note: It is required that every 406 ELT be registered by the aircraft owner after installation, re-registered every two years, and re-registered if there are any changes to information provided to NOAA in a previous registration, such as telephone numbers, aircraft registration number, change of owner, etc. Every 406 ELT is programmed at the factory with a unique identification code used by the Rescue Coordination Center to determine if an emergency has actually occurred. This identifier is called the 15-Hex ID. It is located on the front label of the ELT. This unique identifier is stored in a database maintained by NOAA. It can then be accessed to contact the owner in the event of an ELT activation. Registration is free, and can even be done via the Internet on the NOAA website at: www.sarsat.noaa.gov, or at www.beaconregistration.noaa.gov. This 406 Mhz ELT is programmed for USA Registered Aircraft. If your plane is registered in any country other than the United States we will need a 406 Mhz ELT Programming Data Sheet completed Click Here to Download Overall Rating for Ameri-King AK-451 ELT - 406 MHz - Whip Antenna - GPS/NAV Position Capable
