If you want to save on fuel costs and increase the life of your engine while enhancing safety, proper monitoring of your engine temperature is required. This Alcor CHT/CHT meter provides a quick visual reference to peak EGT, which you can set a reference to with easy in-flight calibration (special screwdriver included), while providing temperature compensation for accurate year-round readings, both on the ground and at altitude. CHT is calibrated to true temperature: 500 degrees Fahrenheit at 8 ohm. The meter requires no external power source, so you can always count on it even during electrical failure. This meter is intended for use on twin engine aircraft. All necessary mounting hardware included.
