The ATS Low Shock 3X Rivet Gun has the same power of a standard gun, but at a much lower level of vibration. If you are at risk for the harmful effects of vibration shock, then this gun will allow you to work longer without suffering its numbing effects. By using special elastomer cushions and a larger piston, the ATS Shock Reduced Rivet Gun dramatically reduces tool vibration by as much as 300% over comparable X-Series rivet guns. It also features an oversized soft grip, and a cushioned trigger to reduce finger irritation and provide greater comfort. Special T-Handle design optimizes tool balance and minimizes wrist fatigue. Overall, we like this gun for its low noise and very low vibration characteristics. It's very well balanced, and riveting performance is on par with a standard rivet gun. However, users should be aware that it is 12 ounces heaver, and 3" longer than our comparable X-series rivet guns.
