First Application: In this step you will be using Air Glare Professional Aircraft Polish like a compound. Shake well. Apply small amount directly to cool clean, dry surface. If applying by hand, a foam applicator par or clean soft terry cloth is recommended. If applying with a high speed buffer, a foam buffing pad is recommended (1800RPM is recommended for optimum performance.) Buff briskly in a circular motion until polish disappears into the paint, oxidation is removed, and a high gloss is visible. This will insure that the product bonds to the paint from deep within. Make sure to apply enough pressure to remove all oxidized paint.

Second Application: In this step you will be using Air Glare Professional Aircraft Polish like a wax. This is called the "Glare Coat". This application will seal the paint and should always be the final step in detailing your aircraft's exterior. Using an orbital buffer with a clean terry cloth bonnet or by hand with clean terry cloth, spread a small amount of polish over the entire aircraft. (Windows and chrome included) This time do not buff the product into the paint, but spread a thin coat and allow it to dry to a haze (about 10 minutes). After the polish is dry to the touch, buff off all excess product turning the cloth to a clean site frequently. If streaking occurs too much polish has been used or water was present on the aircraft. Streaking will disappear after 24 hours or first wash. Surfaces that have already been "Glared" need to follow second application only. A renewal coat should be applied within 60 months. Air Glare Professional Aircraft Polish should not be applied to vinyl, leather, cloth or any soft or porous material. If product stains any type of the material mentioned simply rub off with a terry cloth or use a soft brush for deeper crevices.
