This patented new socket design is the innovation of an A&P mechanic who decided to solve the problem of battery terminal damage once and for all. The result is a tool that removes and installs terminals effortlessly and without damage to the nuts or posts. The unique torque-limiting feature controls the amount of torque you can place on the terminal so that you’re much less likely to strip it or snap the stud.
