34 minutes of Alaskan Entertainment produced by an Alaska resident and commercial floatplane pilot.
Heavily weighted towards aviation enthusiasts who are intrigued with this unique way of life, and the excitement associated with flying these legendary floatplanes in Alaska.
The footage spans the years 2000 through 2003 and includes scenes from Prince of Wales Island to Hyder, Alaska. If you live or have lived in the area, you may recognize many of the faces. Or if you just love watching floatplanes, you will see plenty of DeHavilland Beaver and Otter flying scenes. Watch how the planes are put into the water in the morning, then ramped and or pulled out at the end of the day. Enjoy scenes of bears, eagles, salmon, whales, and the majestic Misty Fjords. Observe the many interesting aspects of floatplane flying in Southern Southeast Alaska.

float flyingBy john from new mexico on April 3, 2011 Fantastic video. High quality professional product. My biggest complaint is its too short. Would like to have seen at least 45 min. Would like to get more of his videos, but he hasnt done any more. I will be buying the next one when/if comes out. Makes you want to pack your bags and head for Alaska.I would recommend this item to a friend.
