AeroShell Oil W80 Plus is a single grade oil that combines proven AeroShell ashless dispersant technology with advanced antiwear additives. It�s the oil for pilots who want a single grade that delivers extra protection and performance.

AeroShell Oil W80 Plus brings together the best qualities of two of the world�s best-selling four-cycle aviation oils. It has the single grade, ashless dispersant performance found in AeroShell Oil W 80 and the anti-wear/anti-corrosion additives of AeroShell Oil W 15W-50 Multigrade.

The advanced additives in AeroShell Oil W80 Plus provide better rust and wear protection than conventional single grades. The additives work as a protective barrier to prevent critical parts from being slowly eaten away by rust or wear, especially when an aircraft sits idle (which more and more planes do these days). This protection helps keep the camshaft and lifters coated, reducing the likelihood of premature overhaul, helping you reach TBO.

Like all our oils, AeroShell Oil W80 Plus is engineered to keep engines clean and free of sludge. It helps reduce oil consumption and protects engine parts from metal-on-metal wear. The bottom line is a healthier, longer-lasting engine.

Specifications

Our premium single grade meets the specifications of SAE J-1899 and the former MIL-L-22851D. It conforms to FAA Airworthiness Directive 80-04-03 and Lycoming Service Bulletin 446L, and it contains the formulation recommended for Continental engines by many industry experts.
