APV's Walkway™ and Wingwalk™ Compounds are a non-slip safety paint that can be used in an extensive range of applications. It is formulated in both solvent-based and water-based versions, which is compliant to the MIL-W-5044C/A-A-59166 Military Specification.
These paints have been used for many years by the military on various equipment in high foot-traffic areas. Today, Akron Paint & Varnish's Walkway/Wingwalk Compound can be used in a broad range of applications, including: helicopters, radar equipment, machinery and equipment, decking, playgrounds, boats, truck beds, golf carts, and much more. By Jonny P from Lancaster,Califorina on November 23, 2011 I used wing walk to coat the wood on a trailer. it worked perfectly sticks great to wood. one gallon covered a 16'x6.3' trailer with a little left over.
