Very good noise reduction for a passive set.

Had several prior headsets. The previous similarly priced ANR had squealing troubles after a couple years. One typical problem with with ANR is that it only reduces a particular target frequency.

In my noisy cabin this Peltor 7000 PRO passive headset reduced noise significantly at all frequencies. The 25db NRR must be underrated. I like the thinner headband for my low overhead cabin. At 12.8oz it is fairly lightweight – probably because it does not extra features like cellphone or MP3 interfaces. Overall this is a good noise reduction headset, good quality and you don't have to worry about batteries.
Pros:
Relatively lightweight. Good sound attenuation. Thin headband.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
