3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2216 B/A
Weather stripping is the bane of older and well-used interiors. Have you ever had any of the following weather stripping problems: nicks and tears, flabby seals, and worst of all, floppy strips? Have you ever found yourself in a moment of frustration yanking a hanging flap of weather stripping right off the window or door altogether?
When weather stripping has gotten the best of you, go after it with 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2216 B/A.
This adhesive can bond to rubber, metal, wood, masonry, and plastics. It's not as simple as going after the rubber with a sealant gun. If you're trying to glue back weather stripping, you do have to mix this two-part epoxy and then wrap up the fitting and placement of annoying rubber within 90 minutes.
And if you have no annoying weather stripping, this product has many, and even better, uses. Its specialty is holding up under the pressures of shear and peel and if you are in the aviation and aerospace industry, that's going to have practical applications.
We carry Epoxy 2216 B/A in lots (quart), little (2 ounces) and in-between (pint). Take your pick.
