Dear Telex Customers,
After several years of production, Telex has decided to permanently discontinue the production and sale of the Airman AN R500 headset, effective August 31, 2011. This is necessitated by declining sales and increasing cost of production. Orders must be received by August 31, 2011 and will be fulfilled per normal lead time. Orders received after this date will not be accepted.
This letter does not pertain to the repair and servicing of the AN R500. Telex will continue to repair and service units currently being used in the field for several years to come.
